Brad Cathers<\/strong> <\/p>\n FOR RELEASE Listening to Communities and Reinstating Premier\u2019s Community Tour Public Meetings<\/strong><\/p>\n WHITEHORSE \u2013 Brad Cathers, MLA for Lake Laberge, announced his plan to reinstate the annual Premier\u2019s Community Tour, including holding public meetings in all Yukon communities every year.<\/p>\n \u201cMy vision for improving how government listens to Yukoners includes the Premier and other elected officials holding public meetings in Yukon communities at least once a year,\u201d said Cathers. \u201cThis is an important part of showing Yukoners that a government under my leadership cares about them and their priorities, and that I am willing to answer questions about the issues that are important to them.\u201d<\/p>\n Brad\u2019s vision for reinstating the annual Premier\u2019s Community Tour includes holding public meetings in all Yukon communities every year, as well as meeting with First Nations, municipalities, and local advisory councils.<\/p>\n During the Leadership Election Campaign, he plans to visit all Yukon communities, and will be announcing dates in the New Year.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I was first elected, I made a commitment to hold public meetings for my constituents every year,\u201d noted Cathers. \u201cDuring my time as an MLA, I have kept that commitment, and have always held public meetings for my constituents.
